Latitude 45 Arts is delighted to welcome Montreal-based artist Socalled to our roster. With six solo albums to his name and concerts worldwide, Socalled is talented many times over in his roles as a pianist, accordionist, producer, journalist, photographer, filmmaker, magician, cartoonist and puppet maker. Latitude 45 presents his new project inspired by classic Yiddish songs: accompanied by a string quartet, Socalled takes us on a musical voyage that is at once tearful and full of joy.
We also welcome the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, led by conductor Alexander Weimann, to the Latitude 45 family! Based in Vancouver, the orchestra is lauded worldwide for its original programming and energetic interpretations of Baroque repertoire.
