Rémi est un trompettiste jazz canadien, nommé Révélation Jazz Radio-Canada en 2023. Son premier album Glimpse mêle jazz européen, moderne et influences nord-africaines, tout en abordant l’impact des réseaux sociaux. Son prochain album, Rich State of Mind (janvier 2026), s’inspire du hip-hop et met en vedette Braxton Cook et David Binney. Rémi s’intéresse aux formes de richesse non matérielles à travers une musique à la croisée des genres. Il a joué avec Alain Caron, Oliver Jones, Vox Sambou, ainsi que Dave Holland, Randy Brecker et Chris Potter.
Rémi is a Canadian jazz trumpeter and the 2023 Radio-Canada Jazz Revelation of the Year. His debut album Glimpse blends European, modern, and North African jazz with reflections on social media’s influence. His upcoming release, Rich State of Mind (January 2026), merges jazz with hip-hop, featuring Braxton Cook and David Binney. Inspired by artists like Robert Glasper and Roy Hargrove, Rémi explores what truly makes us “rich”. He has performed with icons such as Dave Holland, Randy Brecker, and Chris Potter, as well as Canadian legends Alain Caron, Oliver Jones, and Vox Sambou.
