Wanderlust was born from a concert program we developed during the pandemic, a time when we were unable to travel very far from our front doors, let alone explore new places. Given the magical capacity of music to transport us elsewhere—if even briefly—we wanted to take our listeners on a musical voyage instead. Much of what you’ll hear on this album is inspired by folk music from around the world, naturally suited to the flute and the guitar, which are so deeply rooted in many global folk music traditions. We’ve loved every part of the journey that led up to this release, and we hope it leads you to discover new music that you love, too. Happy travels!
