Welcoming conductor Adam Johnson to Latitude 45!

Latitude 45 Arts is very proud to announce that the Canadian conductor Adam Johnson is joining our roster.


Thrilling audiences at the top levels of the Canadian music scene, award-winning Canadian conductor Adam Johnson has been praised as “an exciting talent” and for his “charismatic, commanding presence” on the podium. A highly-sought leader, he completed his training in his role as Assistant Conductor of the Montréal Symphony Orchestra from 2016-2018, and was appointed Resident Conductor for the 2018-2019 season. He collaborated closely with Music Director Kent Nagano on recordings for Decca and Analekta, and contributed to performances in Carnegie Hall, the Salzburg Festival, and a major European tour. He has conducted more than 65 concerts with the OSM and is frequently reengaged as a guest conductor.


We are delighted to work with this talented musician and look forward to seeing where our collaboration takes us.

Chef d’orchestre primé, le Canadien Adam Johnson a été louangé pour son « grand talent » et sa « présence charismatique ». Depuis ses débuts professionnels en 2013, il a dirigé les orchestres symphoniques de Montréal, Québec, Trois-Rivières, Edmonton, Calgary, Thunder Bay, Saskatoon, Guelph, McGill, et Symphony Nova Scotia, ainsi qu’avoir travaillé à l’international avec le Philharmonishes Staatsoper Hamburg et l’Orquestra Simfonica de Barcelona I Nacional de Catalunya.


Nous sommes ravis de travailler avec ce musicien talentueux et sommes impatients de voir où notre collaboration nous mènera.
