New Work by Andy Milne Streamed on The Violin Channel

Acclaimed composer and pianist Andy Milne has unveiled his latest work, Chimeric Reveries, now streaming on The Violin Channel. Presented as part of the Banff Centre's renowned String Quartet Festival, this performance features the talented Isidore String Quartet, joined by the composer himself on the piano, shining a spotlight on his boundary-pushing and innovative style. The concert also features Erwin Schulhoff: Five Pieces for String Quartet and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Souvenir de Florence for Strings, Op. 70, with the participation of James Ehnes (viola) and Edward Arron (cello).  

Andy Milne, a visionary in modern jazz and classical fusion, is known for blending harmonic complexity with emotional depth. Milne’s collaboration with the Isidore String Quartet offers a riveting interpretation, showcasing both his signature style and the ensemble’s versatility.
