Trio Garibaldi releases their first opus!

We're happy to announce that Trio Garibaldi released their first album today with ATMA Classique.
The album, Faded in Sepia, is a rich musical journey featuring works by Lowell Liebermann, Dorothy Chang, and Stephen Chatman, alongside a vibrant tribute to Duke Ellington through original arrangements by Yuri Kuriyama.
Trio Garibaldi brings together violist Marina Thibeault, clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester, and pianist David Fung, all of whom were affiliated with the University of British Columbia at the time of the ensemble’s creation. Inspired by the majestic landscapes of Mount Garibaldi, from which it takes its name, the ensemble adopts a bold and unusual formation which it explores with curiosity and freedom.
