Welcoming Jazz Legend Alain Caron to the Latitude 45 Roster!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the world-renowned bassist and composer, Alain Caron, has joined the Latitude 45 roster! As a pivotal force in contemporary jazz, Caron’s arrival marks an exciting new chapter for our agency, and we are honored to represent him as he continues to captivate audiences with his unique music.

From co-founding the influential jazz fusion group UZEB in the 1980s—which went on to sell over 400,000 albums and tour the globe—to his prolific solo career, Caron has established himself as a technical virtuoso on the six-string electric bass. His mastery has not gone unnoticed. With over 20 albums to his name and collaborations with icons like Mike Stern and Randy Brecker, Caron has amassed an incredible array of accolades. He is a recipient of 11 Félix awards, a Gemini award, and was notably appointed to the Order of Canada in 2018. For eight consecutive years, Jazz Report Magazine named him "Best Bassist," a testament to his unparalleled skill and influence.

As a longstanding Markbass and FBass artist, he has also helped design his own signature amp and two signature bass models.
