“Between Mist and Sky” from Ensemble Kimya is now available!

The first album of the Ensemble Kimya is now available under Urborigène Records!

After having shared the stage for several years in Montreal, Amir Amiri (Santur) and Olivier Marin (Viola & Viola d'amore) decided to continue their collaboration and expand their musical universe. Thus they have created the new ensemble Kimya based in Paris with two extraordinary musicians Roméo Monteiro (Indian Percussions) and Andrew Briggs (Cello) for this album.

Their different musical horizons meet to create a subtle and original program "Between Mist and Sky" combining classical and contemporary music from Europe, the Middle East and India, in the spirit of the adventurous musicians Jordi Savall, Garth Knox or Vincent Ségal. Listen to the album here!
